The Owners

Toby's World Gifts is owned and operated by Ron White and his family. Ron bought the store in 2001 after serving as CEO for the clothing retail chain Maurices. Since then, the store has undergone immense change to become what it is today: an inviting and fun place to bring the family to shop and be entertained.

The People

Toby's World Gifts is a welcoming place for employees as well. Many employees stay with us for years, forging friendships with customers and coworkers alike. For the most part, everyone at Toby's live no more than a few minutes away, fostering the unique "at home" atmosphere that makes you feel so comfortable in our store. Hailing originally from states such as Ohio, New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina, you may even find that someone working at Toby's once lived only a short drive away from you!

The Business

Toby's World Gifts started in 2001 when Toby's Old World was bought by Ron White. Since that day, Toby's has undergone massive transformation. Toby's now focuses on unique and affordable gifts, gifts that you won't find elsewhere at prices that won't empty your wallet. A focus on a friendly and fun environment is also found in Toby's, including an old time player piano, a four foot-high gumball machine, plenty of candy samples, and music playing inside and out.
